All Key Stage 4 classes have one period per week of Careers Education in which they take part in a comprehensive programme which guides them towards being able to make informed decisions in relation to their future.
Careers guidance interviews take place with Pat Dolan, Careers Office (DEL) and in February, local employers take part in an Interview Skills Day in which pupils get advice and experience on the interview process.
All year 11 pupils participate in work experience in June in which they have the opportunity to experience an occupation of their choice. Other careers events include talks, relevant external visits, Life Skills Seminars and workshops.
